Noosa National Park hike

10:00-13:30

Start your day with a hike through Noosa National Park. The Park is located in the center of this little town, and its 5 different level paths are well marked and secured so basically there i no age limit to explore this beauty. The most popular and recommended path is Coastal walk, which starts at the main entrance of the park and takes you along the shoreline to explore the nature, wildlife while enjoying the spectacular view of the sea.

Most important spots:

Boiling Pot: is a great spot with a view of the coastal line, and Cooloola section.

Stop there for a moment and then continue towards the Tea Tree Bay where, if you’re lucky, you may spot some koalas. There are also toilets if needed.

Head towards the Dolphin Bay to, as the name suggests, see dolphins that might be playing around the area.

Just bellow Dolphin Bay there are two natural tidal pools, Fairy Pools where you can enjoy swimming.

Finish your walk with the stunning view of the Hells Gate, just be careful not to be blown away as the winds can be very strong there.

If you are look careful around yourself, along the way, you may spot some rock art as well.

Tips and tricks***

Makes sure you are wearing comfortable clothes and suitable shoes for bushes. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat will be essential as you might already know that Australia has the highest solar power radiation in the world.

Bring water as the walk might take long. And don’t forget your camera to capture the most picturesque scenery in South East Queensland.

Sunset cruise

17:00- 18:00

After your visit to the Park and lunch, you will be ready for a relaxing evening on the cruise that will take you around Noosa. There are different companies that operate and offer different kind of packages, with beverages or without. No matter the company you choose, I am sure that you will enjoy your little journey.

Prices can vary, but the minimum price can be $10 per person.

There are few companies that I can recommend, however sometimes the best deals can be found at the pier. The cruise usually departs from Sofitel, also it can depart from Tewantin.

Enjoy a bit of culture

If you are interested in any kind of art, little hidden gem Noosa Arts Theatre offers a lot of ways for entertainment. This smallish theater offers an array of performances: comedies, musicals, cabarets and much more. This small, intimate theater has a bar that opens 30 minutes before the performance starts and drinks can be taken to the auditorium. I’d suggest you to check out the timetable and choose something that you would like to see yourself. Obviously, there are limited seats so reach the theater early, grab your drink and enjoy an intimate atmosphere that little theater can offer.
